The second International Oil and Gas Youth Forum Hackathon Oil Tech Challenge 2021 will bring together 250 students, teachers and young specialists of the oil and gas industry in Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan) from July 8 to 15.
HOT Challenge is a unique educational platform, the purpose of which is to identify and professional development of a progressive team of talented youth to solve urgent problems facing the fuel and energy complex of Russia.
The HOT Challenge 2021 program includes six intensive days: independent tracks, master classes by leading oil and gas experts, blitz hackathons, and business games.
The key topic of this forum will be sustainable development. To solve the project tasks by the teams at the hackathon, the following UN sustainable development goals were identified: “Affordable and Clean Energy”, “Responsible Consumption and Production”, “Combating Climate Change”, “Preserving Terrestrial Ecosystems”. Particular attention, as noted, will be paid to the development of leadership skills, effective communication, and result orientation.
The forum will be attended by 250 students, young professionals and teachers from Russia and the CIS countries. For individual achievements, the most active participants in the HOT Challenge 2021 will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to enter the personnel reserve of fuel and energy companies, to undergo an internship in leading oil and gas companies in Russia and foreign countries on the recommendation of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
The organizers of the forum are the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, PJSC TATNEFT, the Youth Council of the Oil and Gas Industry under the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
